Our local mission is the support of the Samaritan Center. There is a plastic bin in the Narthex to hold any donations provided. Non-perishable items in need. Kathleen Glovich has been nominated from the Board of Deacons to drop off items to the Samaritan Center on a regular basis.
Our national and International mission is our Centsability program. Coin boxes are provided as a reminder on our tables to assist with those in need of food - worldwide. One prayerfully considers donating a penny (or more) a meal and places it in the coin box and prays for those in need, prior to eating their own meal. On the third Sunday of each month, the donations from the coin boxes are placed into our Mission bowls and dedicated for the Lord's service in our offertory portion of worship.
Knitting in Prayer group meets once a month in the church library for about one hour. Prayers for the congregation and any others that need to be lifted are given to the Lord. At present we are making baby blankets for the tiny tots in the NICU at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ
